01 / PUBLIC STANDARDS

Trust must be earned through methods readers can inspect.

Our charter explains how Infrastructure Evidence Group protects independence, evaluates evidence, handles uncertainty, and corrects the record.

PURPOSE

Clear evidence for consequential infrastructure decisions.

We examine whether major infrastructure proposals clearly disclose their resource requirements, public costs, expected benefits, environmental effects, approvals, and measurable commitments.

Our mission is to make those decisions understandable, traceable, and useful for governments, utilities, investors, developers, journalists, and communities.

PUBLIC COMMITMENT

Four rules that govern every investigation.

01

No predetermined conclusion

We do not begin with a position for or against a project. Benefits, costs, protections, and unresolved risks are all evaluated.

02

Evidence stays visible

Material claims are tied to sources, responsible parties, time periods, assumptions, and an appropriate level of confidence.

03

Uncertainty is not hidden

We clearly separate verified facts, official statements, projections, independent analysis, and information that remains unknown.

04

Errors are corrected

Meaningful factual errors receive a visible correction; new evidence that changes a conclusion receives an update and revised confidence assessment.

RESEARCH SCOPE

The physical systems behind AI.

Our work follows the full chain of infrastructure demands and public commitments—not a single headline number.

01Electricity and grid reliability
02Water, cooling, and watersheds
03Land use and permitting
04Taxes, incentives, and public costs
05Jobs and community commitments
06Compliance and measured resource efficiency

RESOURCE SUSTAINABILITY

Can growth be sustained without unreasonable burdens?

We evaluate whether electricity, water, land, fiscal, and environmental demands can be managed without unreasonable burdens on existing users or future community needs. Practical mitigation, efficiency, enforceability, and measured performance matter more than slogans for or against development.
