Research and information

IEG publishes research about infrastructure projects, public records, resource demands, and public decisions. Findings are tied to sources and verification dates where available. Proposals, estimates, projections, and measured outcomes are distinct categories; a page should be read with its cited records and stated limits.

Site material is general research information. It is not legal, investment, engineering, financial, or other professional advice, and it is not a substitute for reviewing the underlying records or obtaining advice for a specific decision.

Briefing requests

Submitting a form sends an inquiry for review. It does not create a client relationship, guarantee availability, or establish an agreed scope, fee, or delivery date. Any commissioned work requires a separate written scope.

Sources, corrections, and reuse

Public records and third-party materials remain subject to their own rights and terms. When citing IEG research, preserve the source links, verification dates, qualifications, and correction notes. Do not present a forecast or unverified claim as a measured outcome. IEG’s final rules for reproducing its original text, graphics, and reports require owner review before publication of these terms.

Responsible use

Do not attempt to access the private dashboard without authorization, interfere with site operations, or submit malicious content through the intake form. IEG may update public material as records change and will document material corrections through its standards process.

Before approval, confirm the organization’s legal name and jurisdiction, the verified contact address, the treatment of original IEG content and reports, and the final wording for limitations and liability.
